YouMo AG, together with its strategic partner STEMA Metalleichtbau GmbH<\/a> Gro\u00dfenhain, has developed a superstructure for the cargo e-bike brand XCYC in just two months. This sets a new standard in the cargo e-bike sector and it is designed to make garden maintenance and landscaping even greener and more efficient.<\/p>

After the innovative prototype of the trailer received a very positive response at this year’s Eurobike<\/a>, the further development of the product was a priority for YouMo.<\/strong> In just two months, a production-ready version of the superstricture was then developed in collaboration with STEMA, a leading trailer manufacturer. The series production superstructure will be available for purchase from the start of the 2025 season. The trailer is based on system developments used at STEMA in trailer construction. A special feature is that the loading area can be tilted 30 degrees to the right,<\/strong> which makes unloading easier. The tilting mechanism can be operated manually with a handle or an electric screwdriver. The design is very robust and stable due to the
lateral tilting. Patent rights have already been secured. <\/p>\n

In addition, three of the four panel walls can be opened<\/strong>. These consist of 2 mm thick
aluminum plates with embedded bolt fasteners, which are shaped into lightweight
profiles. The floor of the superstructure consists of a plastic panel with a hexagonal
core, which is light and dimensionally stable and fulfills the requirements of the area
of application. This type of panel is also in use in the automotive industry. <\/p>\n

Overall, the superstructure only weighs 40 kg and is very stable. Optional accessories such as an anti-theft and dust-proof storage box, a ladder rack, tarpaulins and nets, and a sidewall attachment add to its versatility. <\/p>\n

The development is a direct response to the high demand for efficient and environmentally friendly solutions in gardening and landscaping.<\/p>\n
