Our expertise

We have the expertise and diagnostic tools for powertrain systems that have been installed in over 30 brands for many years.

While many retailers focus on the latest innovations, we keep your tried-and-tested technology up and running.

We are the official service provider for maintenance, repairs, and replacement parts for Go SwissDrive (Bike Bus and CAN Bus).

We ensure the continued operation of these systems. Because we’re right at the source, we can repair motors, perform diagnostics, and supply replacement parts for all brands that have installed this drive system (such as Specialized, Bulls, Tour de Suisse, and many more).

Here you’ll find all the brands and models that use this system.

In addition, we repair and service e-bikes with the following drive systems:

  • Bafang
  • Ananda
  • Bosch
  • AEG
  • Fischer

Our team takes a system-oriented approach and is not tied to any particular brand.

Did you buy your Prophete e-bike at OBI, ALDI SUISSE, or online?

YouMo is the official Swiss partner for Prophete.

We carry out warranty work and repairs so that you can travel safely with these models too.

  • OBI will arrange the service call.
  • The e-bike will be collected by YouMo. Provided that a valid warranty exists, there will be no additional costs for end customers.
  • Once repaired, the e-bike will be returned to OBI, where it can be picked up again.
  • OBI arranges for YouMo to pick up the e-bike.
  • Before work begins, customers receive a cost estimate from OBI.
  • Once the repair is complete, you will receive an invoice from OBI and can pick up your e-bike there.

If your Prophete e-bike was originally purchased from OBI, but you contact YouMo directly, we can also handle the repair.
In this case, all communication will take place directly with the YouMo service team:

  • Fill out the service form and briefly describe the problem. Be sure to include the model of your e-bike.
  • YouMo will arrange for pickup and carry out a technical inspection to determine the nature of the defect. Inspection, shipping, and, if necessary, repair are subject to a fee.
  • After the inspection, you will receive a cost estimate for the repair for approval.
  • Once the repair is complete, the e-bike will be returned to you.
  • After submitting the proof of purchase, YouMo will review the warranty claim.
  • If there is a valid warranty, collection, inspection, and repair are free of charge.
  • Once the repair is complete, the e-bike will be returned to you.
  • YouMo will arrange for the e-bike to be picked up.
  • A technical inspection is then conducted to identify the defect. Inspection, shipping, and, if necessary, repair are subject to a fee.
  • After review, you will receive a cost estimate for approval.
  • Once the repair is complete, your e-bike will be returned to you.

If you did not purchase your Prophete e-bike from OBI or ALDI SUISSE, but directly from Prophete or another dealer, you can also contact YouMo directly.

  • Submit your service request using the service form.
  • YouMo organizes the pickup and performs a technical inspection to determine the defect.
  • Inspection, transport, and any necessary repairs are subject to a charge unless covered by a valid warranty.
  • After review, you will receive a cost estimate for approval.
  • Once the repair is complete, your e-bike will be returned to you.

What we can do for you

Every repair starts with a thorough diagnosis: mechanical, electronic, and software-related. Only once we know what the problem is will we let you know the scope of the work and the cost. We won’t proceed without your approval.

Our services include: mechanical repairs (drivetrain, brakes, suspension), electronic troubleshooting, software and system diagnostics, as well as functional and safety testing.

Problem with the motor? We’ll check its functionality, any faults, and whether it can be repaired, and give you a clear estimate of the costs upfront. Whether a repair makes sense depends on the system and the extent of the damage. We’ll give you an honest assessment of what’s worth doing.

Regular maintenance protects your e-bike from major damage. We inspect the brakes, gears, wear parts, battery, motor, and electronics, and perform a software check if necessary. Recommended once a year for all brands and systems.

Repair Costs on an Hourly Basis

The cost of e-bike service and repair depends on the scope of the work, the drive system, and the technical condition of the e-bike.

Labor Rates & Pricing Basis

For many services related to bicycles, pedelecs, and e-bikes, we use the labor rate list published by the Swiss Bicycle Industry Association (ZIV) as a guide.

This list serves as a technical reference for time requirements and work steps.

There is currently no centralized labor rate list for e-bike services in Switzerland. To ensure transparent and understandable pricing nonetheless, we use this list as a guide and adapt it to our workshop practices.

Work that is not covered by a flat rate or requires an individual diagnosis is billed based on time spent.

Hourly Rate

The hourly rate at YouMo is: CHF 120 per hour.

Billing is based on actual time spent.
Before starting the work, we will inform you of the estimated scope and costs.
