About YouMo

YouMo. Just cruise – Our story

A good 10 years ago, our journey began with a simple but revolutionary idea. Teenager Jon wanted a scooter or an iconic moped so that he could cruise around in cool style. However, his father, the environmentally conscious engineer Knut Späte, didn’t want to finance a gas-guzzling scooter. He thought there had to be a modern, clean and quiet alternative. When he realized that there was no such thing, he decided to develop a solution himself. Thus YouMo was born – and the concept of e-cruising was born.

Collaboration with Matthias Reim

We are pleased to announce that in 2019 we have developed a special design for our e-bikes in collaboration with the well-known singer Matthias Reim. Matthias Reim, an avid e-bike rider himself, has contributed his ideas and creativity as co-designer to create a unique model that perfectly combines style and functionality. This collaboration underlines our commitment to developing innovative and attractive products that meet the needs of our customers.
