Are you searching in vain for a workshop in the Thun area or the Bernese Oberland that can get your e-bike back in shape? Unfortunately, this is often the case if you ride a bike with an older drive system, bought it online, or if spare parts are hard to find.

YouMo in Rapperswil-Jona is the solution to this challenge. Even though we are not located directly on Lake Thun, we are the right place for you. We specialise in ‘difficult cases’ throughout Switzerland and ensure that your e-bike does not end up in the scrap heap, but back on the road.

Why it’s worth travelling from Thun to YouMo

We define ourselves through our in-depth technical knowledge. We don’t just replace components, we understand electronics. With diagnostic tools for over 30 brands and years of experience, we repair drives instead of selling you a new bicycle.

Is your e-bike one of the models with a Go SwissDrive rear motor? We manage the official legacy of this drive system (Bike Bus & CAN Bus). We are the successor for service and spare parts. For you in Thun, this means that we overhaul motors and supply original parts for all brands (e.g. Tour de Suisse, Bulls, Specialized) that have installed this motor.

We are not a traditional brand representative. Our workshop is designed to maintain various drive systems, install updates and troubleshoot faults, including for:

  • Bafang
  • Ananda
  • Bosch
  • AEG

Do you have an e-bike from Prophete (e.g. from Aldi or OBI)? In the Thun region, service for these bikes is often patchy. We are the official Swiss service partner for Prophete. We take care of warranty and repair work so that you can stay mobile and safe.

Your route from Thun to us

Most customers from the Bernese Oberland use our transport service. This saves you time and effort. We collect the e-bike directly from your home and deliver it back to you once it has been repaired.

Important for collection:

  • Please secure the key (battery) and charger to the bicycle or enclose them with the bicycle.
  • Please print out the delivery note (we will send it by email) and enclose it with your return.
  • No cardboard boxes needed – our vehicles are specially designed for the safe transport of bicycles.

Are you combining the service with a trip? Then bring your bike along in person. You can find us at Stampfstrasse 74 in Rapperswil-Jona. Here in the industrial area, you can park stress-free right in front of the workshop gate.

Remote Regions:

For transport to car-free towns or locations that are not regularly accessible via public roads, any additional costs will be charged according to the official local rates.

These locations are situated within the defined remote regions. These include, among others, Zermatt, Saas-Fee, Wengen, and similar destinations.

Bringst du das Velo selbst vorbei und möchtest mobil bleiben? Wir stellen dir (nach Verfügbarkeit) ein Ersatz-E-Bike zur Verfügung.

  • Gratis: Für alle Kunden, die ihr Velo bei YouMo gekauft haben.
  • Gratis: Ab dem zweiten Auftrag auch für Fremdmarken.
  • Pauschale: Für Neukunden verrechnen wir faire CHF 50.– für die gesamte Dauer.

Unsere Preise

Transparenz ist unser oberstes Gebot. Wir verrechnen unsere Leistungen nach der offiziellen Arbeitswerteliste (ZIV) bei einem Stundensatz von CHF 120.–. Wir besprechen alle Kosten vorab mit dir.

E-Bike Service - Standard

  • Prüfung auf Verkehrssicherheit (Licht und Ausrüstung)
  • E-Bike Reinigung (grob)
  • Normale Reinigung des Bikes inkl. Kassette und Kurbelgarnitur (bei extremer Verschmutzung wird Zeit zusätzlich verrechnet)
  • Prüfung und Einstellen der Bremsen und der Schaltung
  • Kontrolle des Luftdrucks
  • Kontrolle von Felgen und Speichen
  • Überprüfung der Lager
  • Schmieren der beweglichen Teile
  • Funktionstest
  • Abschliessende Probefahrt

E-Bike Service - Komplett

  • Prüfung auf Verkehrssicherheit (Licht und Ausrüstung)
