YouMo in Rapperswil-Jona may not be located in your neighbourhood, but it is exactly the place you are looking for. We specialise in ‘difficult cases’. We serve customers from all over Switzerland – including the Basel region.

Why the service is worthwhile for Basel customers
We don’t just repair, we understand the systems. Our focus is on drive technology and electronics. We have diagnostic software and special tools for over 30 different e-bike brands. Instead of selling you a new bike, we do everything we can to get your existing bike back in shape.
1. Go SwissDrive expertise
Do you own an e-bike with a Go SwissDrive motor? We are the official successor for service and spare parts (Bike Bus & CAN Bus). Whether you live in Basel or Bern, we are your source for repairs to this system. We repair motors and supply spare parts for all brands (e.g. Tour de Suisse, Specialized, Bulls) that use this drive system.
2. Open to various drive systems
We are not a typical brand representative, but rather open to all technologies. Our workshop is designed to maintain a wide variety of systems and perform software updates, including:
- Bafang
- Ananda
- Bosch
- AEG
3. Official partner for Prophete
Do you have a Prophete e-bike (e.g. from Aldi or OBI)? It is often difficult to find a service partner for these in Basel. We are the official Swiss service partner for Prophete. We take care of warranty claims and repairs to ensure that your affordable e-bike remains reliable.
Your journey from Basel to us
The convenient solution: our collection service
Most of our customers from the Basel region use our transport service. You don’t have to pack up your bike and drive halfway across Switzerland. We’ll pick up your e-bike directly from you in Basel and deliver it back to you repaired after servicing.
Important for collection:
- Please secure the battery key and charger to the bicycle or enclose them with the shipment.
- Please print out the delivery note (we will send it to you by email) and enclose it with your return.
- Eine Verpackung (Karton) ist nicht nötig – unsere Fahrzeuge sind auf den sicheren Velo-Transport spezialisiert.
Personal arrival (bring-in)
Of course, you can also visit us, perhaps in conjunction with a trip to Lake Zurich. You will find us at Stampfstrasse 74 in Rapperswil-Jona. You can park stress-free directly in front of the workshop gate and hand over your bike.

Remote Regions:
For transport to car-free towns or locations that are not regularly accessible via public roads, any additional costs will be charged according to the official local rates.
These locations are situated within the defined remote regions. These include, among others, Zermatt, Saas-Fee, Wengen, and similar destinations.

Brauchst du ein Ersatz-E-Bike?
Solltest du das Velo persönlich vorbeibringen und mobil bleiben wollen, bieten wir dir (nach Verfügbarkeit) ein Ersatz-E-Bike an.
- Gratis: Für alle YouMo-Kunden (bei uns gekauftes Velo).
- Gratis: Ab dem zweiten Serviceauftrag auch für Fremdmarken.
- Pauschale: Für Neukunden berechnen wir faire CHF 50.– für die gesamte Reparaturdauer.
Unsere Preise im Überblick
Wir arbeiten transparent nach der offiziellen Arbeitswerteliste (ZIV). Unser Stundensatz beträgt CHF 120.–. Wir besprechen alle Kosten mit dir, bevor wir loslegen.

- Prüfung auf Verkehrssicherheit (Licht und Ausrüstung)
- E-Bike Reinigung (grob)
- Normale Reinigung des Bikes inkl. Kassette und Kurbelgarnitur (bei extremer Verschmutzung wird Zeit zusätzlich verrechnet)
- Prüfung und Einstellen der Bremsen und der Schaltung
- Kontrolle des Luftdrucks
- Kontrolle von Felgen und Speichen
- Überprüfung der Lager
- Schmieren der beweglichen Teile
- Funktionstest
- Abschliessende Probefahrt
E-Bike Service - Komplett
