How much does an e-bike battery repair cost?

Can an e-bike battery really last 10 years?
Yes, but it’s quite rare. The lifespan of your battery depends on several factors:
- Charging cycles: The more often you charge it, the faster it ages.
- Care: Extreme heat, cold, or incorrect charging will shorten the battery’s lifespan.
- Usage: If the cells are heavily loaded, capacity suffers.
- Surrounding conditions: Moisture or dust can damage the electronics.
Tipp: Mit schonendem Ladeverhalten (z. B. nicht ständig voll aufladen) kannst du die Lebensdauer deutlich verlängern. 10 Jahre sind möglich – aber meistens hält ein Akku 3–7 Jahre, je nach Nutzung.
