Stöckli e-bike battery repair
Professional e-bike repair for your E-Stöckli ET1
The Stöckli ET1 is a high-quality Swiss e-bike, but production of the drive system (Go SwissDrive) has been discontinued. As new replacement batteries are hardly available anymore, professional repair is the best way to maintain your bike in the long term. At our workshop in Rapperswil, we specialize in repairing these special seat tube batteries.
Cell replacement & capacity upgrade
We replace the old cell pack with state-of-the-art brand-name cells. Since the original capacity was even lower when the ET1 was released, we can now pack significantly more range into the existing housing (300 mm or 415 mm).
Electronics service & reactivation
If your battery is “asleep” or no longer charges after a deep discharge, we can often reactivate and reset the battery management system (BMS).
Battery calibration
To ensure that the display on your screen works accurately again, we calibrate the electronics to the new performance values after replacing the cells.
Troubleshooting system failures
We check the communication between the battery and motor to ensure that your Go SwissDrive drive is providing full support again.

E-bike battery repair: How we get your bike back on the road
1. Describe the problem
Simply fill out our form and describe what is wrong with your battery.
You don't have to decide on a service yet—we'll take a look at it.
You will receive a confirmation with all further information.
2. Bring or send the battery to us
Since batteries are considered hazardous goods, you have two options:
In person: Bring your battery (and charger!) directly to us in Rapperswil. This is the safest option and does not cost you any postage.
Shipping: Swiss Post does not transport used lithium batteries. Please use a private logistics service provider and pack the battery well-padded in a sturdy cardboard box.
3. Diagnosis & Repair
Our specialists will thoroughly examine your battery.
Only after the diagnosis do we decide together which repair (e.g., cell replacement or electronics check) really makes sense.
4. Full speed ahead
Once everything has been checked and tested, you can pick up your battery from us again or we can arrange for it to be returned to you by a specialist shipping company.
