Maintenance intervals

Your e-bike should be serviced regularly, even if it is running perfectly. During maintenance, both mechanical and electronic components are checked.

We recommend servicing at least once a year, ideally at the start of the season in spring or before the winter break. If you ride your e-bike all year round, it is best to set a fixed month for servicing. You will find tips on care between services in our guide Cleaning & maintaining your e-bike.

Can you service your e-bike yourself?

We recommend professional servicing by our e-bike service. Electronic components in particular require specialist knowledge; our team recognises early when mechanical parts need replacing, and has the tools and spare parts to hand. You can often solve minor problems on the road yourself; see our guide Repair your e-bike yourself.
