XCYC – “Excites Cycling” – stands for robust, practical cargo e-bikes developed by GWW in Germany.
XCYC has been part of YouMo AG since 2024. With over ten years’ experience in developing electric two-wheelers, we combine design, comfort and urban mobility with professional cargo solutions. In this way, we support businesses with high-performance electric cargo bikes that make everyday working life easier and contribute to sustainable mobility.
How do you pronounce “XCYC”?
The name XCYC comes from “Excites Cycling”, so it is pronounced x-cyc in English, or in German:
iks – like the letter “X” (“iks”)
sa – like the short “sa” in “sack”
aik – like “bike”, i.e. “aik” (long “ei” followed by “k”)

The reinforced frame can carry a total weight of up to 300 kg, even with daily use and on demanding routes. A sturdy double-crown suspension fork ensures stability under load, whilst hydraulic disc brakes bring the vehicle to a safe stop even when fully loaded.

Manoeuvrability is one of the key selling points in the world of cargo bikes. But a small turning circle alone doesn’t tell the whole story, especially in professional use with a full load. Our tricycles remain stable, true to their line and safe even when fully loaded and can be steered precisely with a constant turning circle of 340 cm (ALLROUND) or 460 cm (WORK), even in tight spaces.

Anyone who works on the road every day knows that comfort isn’t a luxury, but a key factor in productivity. XCYC offers practical solutions for this: the height-adjustable seat post makes it easier to get on and off the bike frequently. The parking brake secures the vehicle during loading and unloading, even on hills. An upright seating position is gentle on the back and shoulders, and the intuitive controls allow for a quick start – even when changing drivers.
No driver's license required
All employees are going mobile! The XCYC electric cargo bikes can be ridden without a driving licence. This not only saves money, but also gets your team up and running overnight.
High level of safety: reliable brakes for a controlled driving experience
All XCYC models are equiped with a powerful parking brake. It keeps the bike securely in place, even when heavily loaded or on uneven ground. No rolling away, no need to hold it in place. Simply park it and carry on.

Stuttgart Airport – the cargo e-bikes are part of the electric fleet!
The XCYC WORK with a tarpaulin body is used at Stuttgart Airport for internal transport. The e-cargo bikes support the STRzero climate strategy and are used by staff to transport tools and materials. The Zurich-based company focuses on regional, fresh and sustainable products in recycled packaging. CO2-neutral deliveries are made using electric cars and e-bikes such as the XCYC PICKUP WORK, which feature a water-repellent tarpaulin cover to provide suitable storage space.
CAP Supermarkets – Delivery of weekly groceries
Inclusion is a top priority at CAP supermarkets in Germany, as they are mainly run by people with disabilities. One special service is the delivery service, which is available in stores such as the one in Herrenberg. This service is carried out using XCYC PICKUPs.
