Businesses interested in testing cargo e-bikes in their day-to-day operations now have the opportunity to do so: Through a new incentive program launched by four municipalities in St. Gallen, interested companies can use our XCYC cargo e-bikes free of charge for one year.
Rapperswil-Jona, Rorschach, Flawil, and Wittenbach are making this possible in collaboration with CLEVERMOBIL.
As a manufacturer based in Rapperswil-Jona, we are happy to assist companies in our canton with model selection, setup, and support throughout the year.
About Clevermobil

Test our cargo e-bikes during Green City Days (May 7–10, 2026)
From May 7 to 10, 2026, we cordially invite you to experience the mobility of the future. We have set up a special test track right on the campus of OST University of Applied Sciences.
Take this opportunity to try out our XCYC Cargo e-bikes in real-world conditions. Take a lap around the course and test how they handle.

Submit an application
Interested companies should submit their applications online. The deadline is Friday, May 15, 2026.
Selection notification
By May 22, 2026, you will be notified by email whether your company is one of the six winners per municipality.
Start of the testing phase
It all kicks off at the end of June 2026: The e-cargo bikes will be officially handed over at a launch event, marking the start of the one-year trial period.
After 12 months
After one year, the final decision is made: You can purchase the e-cargo bike at a 30% discount off the regular price, or return it to the municipality at no cost. Both options are available, with no pressure or additional costs.

The urban delivery body is lockable and compartmentalized: orders remain separate, nothing slides around, and nothing gets mixed up. External dimensions: 710 × 700 × 780 mm; interior dimensions: 680 × 580 × 685 mm.
If you make several stops in the city center every day, you’ll get around faster than by car: no need to look for parking, no traffic jams, and no driver’s license required. Ideal for restaurants, catering services, bakeries with delivery services, and delivery companies.
What a year of field testing reveals
A test report doesn’t answer the same questions as twelve months of actual use in your own business. Is the range sufficient for daily routes? How does the cargo bike handle cobblestones when fully loaded? Can the tipper body be integrated into your workflow?
The grant program gives you exactly the time you need to really figure that out.
