Review: Eurobike 2024 - Not without us!
After so much happened at YouMo last year, it was clear to us that we would be back at Eurobike 2024. After all, we wanted to show you our latest developments relating to the XCYC and Go SwissDrive brands.
The trade fair was a complete success for us with many positive impressions and a lot of inspiration. Let’s take a look back at Eurobike together and review the highlights.
Before the trade fair: Hard work pays off
As we took the entire organization of our trade fair appearance into our own hands, the preparation phase was correspondingly intensive. It was the first time many of our team had taken part in such a large trade fair – with many learning effects included.
We brought some models such as our XCYC cargo bike and various superstructures to the trade fair. We invested several hours of extra work to ensure that everything was ready for you in time for the trade fair. After many drops of sweat, the superstructures were clearly visible for you on our stand. This literally welded our team even closer together and we were very pleased with the result.
In addition to the overall coordination and late delivery of marketing materials, we have seen how crucial flexibility is for a successful trade fair appearance.
Our expectations and goals
What would a trade fair participation be without great expectations? We had big plans and wanted to offer you a lot at our stand.
First and foremost was the announcement that we had taken over the XCYC brand. This was very well received by you and we are confident that the XCYCs will become even better known as a result and become even more established on the market. In any case, the XCYCs could not be overlooked. Our stand was located in the cargo area right at the entrance to the trade fair. So we were easy for you to find.
We were able to present our models and their technical features to you at our stand. A highlight for us was the presentation of our new loading areas and body solutions such as the camping trailer for the XCYC cargo bikes. We received many interested questions from you and were able to look into enthusiastic faces.
It was just as important for us to introduce you to our Go SwissDrive repair service and all the other services we offer for e-bikes.
We are also pleased that we have been able to talk to our dealers and conclude new contracts.
Many of our customers were also there. It was nice to meet both familiar and new people. All in all, Eurobike was a great success. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all the conversations we were able to have with you.
Insights and feedback
The discussions with you and business customers were definitely worthwhile.
It was exciting that many business customers assumed that customs bureaucracy was a major challenge. As a company from Switzerland, we are very familiar with this. As we also have a branch office in Germany, this makes any export and import process much easier for our customers from the EU and poses no challenge whatsoever.
The feedback we received on the XCYC loading areas was very valuable. You gave us lots of tips and suggestions on what you would add or optimize. We will now improve the loading areas so that we can respond optimally to the needs of our customers.
Overall, the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. The bodies for local authorities, for last-mile deliveries and for garden and park maintenance were very well received. The highlight was our electric cargo bike with tent body, which can be hired by customers as a bike safari.
Conclusion: Eurobike 2024 was a complete success
Eurobike was very successful for us. Our expectations and goals were exceeded and we were able to gather numerous positive impressions. We also recognized unknown potential and will adapt our solutions thanks to your feedback.
The trade fair showed us that we are on the right track and that our commitment and innovations are very well received.
