The XCYC brand
XCYC – ‘Excites Cycling’ – stands for robust, practical cargo e-bikes developed by GWW in Germany.
XCYC has been part of YouMo AG since 2024. With over ten years of experience in the development of electric two-wheelers, we combine design, comfort and urban mobility with professional cargo solutions. How do you pronounce ‘XCYC’?
The name XCYC goes back to ‘Excites Cycling’, pronounced x-cyc, or in German:
iks – like the letter ‘X’ (‘iks’)
sa – like the short ‘sa’ in ‘Sack’
aik – like ‘bike’, so ‘aik’ (long “ei” followed by ‘k’)

The reinforced frame can carry a total weight of up to 300 kg – even with daily use and demanding routes. A stable double bridge suspension fork ensures directional stability under load, while hydraulic disc brakes bring the vehicle safely to a halt even when fully loaded.
Adapts - not the other way round
Manoeuvrability is one of the big promises in the cargo bike world. But a small turning circle alone says little – especially in professional use with a full load. Even when loaded, our tricycles remain stable, directionally stable and safe – and with a constant turning circle of 340 cm (ALLROUND) or 460 cm (WORK), they can be steered precisely, even in tight spaces.

Anyone who works in the field every day knows that comfort is not an extra, but part of productivity. XCYC offers practical solutions for this: The lowerable seat post makes frequent mounting and dismounting easier. The parking brake secures the vehicle when loading and unloading – even on inclines. An upright seating position is easy on the back and shoulders, and the clearly organised controls allow quick access – even when changing drivers.
No driver's license required

Stuttgart Airport – the cargo e-bikes are part of the electric fleet!
The XCYC PICKUP WORK with tarpaulin body is used at Stuttgart Airport for internal transport. The e-cargo bikes support the STRzero climate strategy and are used by employees to transport tools and materials. Trainees benefit as no driving licence is required and distances can be covered more quickly. The XCYC PICKUPs are a cost-effective addition to the e-fleet.
MrBrunch.ch – Delivery service without emissions
Whether it’s a spontaneous brunch on a Sunday morning or a team event in the office – MrBrunch.ch delivers the right brunch boxes. The Zurich-based company focuses on regional, fresh and sustainable products in recycled packaging. The CO2-neutral delivery is carried out using electric cars and e-bikes such as the XCYC PICKUP WORK, which offer suitable storage space with a water-repellent tarpaulin structure.
CAP Supermarkets – Delivery of weekly groceries
Inclusion is a top priority at CAP supermarkets in Germany, as they are mainly run by people with disabilities. One special offer is the delivery service, which is available in stores like the one in Herrenberg. This service is carried out using XCYC PICKUPs.
